MIND, AWARENESS AND CONSCIOUSNESS

Everything that has ever been known

has been known in Consciousness.

Every thought.

Every perception.

Every discovery.

Every belief.

Without Consciousness,

nothing could appear—

for anyone, anywhere.

It is the prerequisite of experience.

The essence of life itself.

Ordinarily, when we say “consciousness,”

we mean the activity of the mind—

thinking, sensing, remembering, perceiving.

But these are movements within Consciousness.

They are not its essence.

The mind functions in time and space.

Consciousness itself

is the timeless source

in which time and space appear.

On its own level, beyond thought,

Consciousness is an unbounded field

of pure Awareness.

The eternal Now

through which all moments pass.

The unmoving background

through which all change moves.

Everything that has ever happened

has happened within it.

And yet—

because of conditioning—

this vastness has seemed to shrink

into a localized “me,”

identified with a body and mind.

So we experience only the contents

of awareness—

not Awareness itself.

Most do not suspect

there is anything more.

Everyone has conscious experience.

But pure Awareness—

the silent field

in which experience happens—

remains unnoticed.

Consciousness and Awareness

are not two.

Pure Awareness

is the silent field of Being.

Pure Consciousness

is that Awareness

aware of itself.

The thinking mind

is simply an activity within it.

Right now,

the Stillness you may sense

within and around you

is the unmoving field

of your own pure Awareness.

And the noticing of it

is the activity of mind.

If these words seem subtle—

do not struggle with definitions.

Consciousness cannot be captured

in language.

Just continue simply.

Let understanding unfold

without force.

Clarity will not come

from analysis—

but from the quiet recognition

of what has always been here.
