ENTERING THE STILLNESS:

YOUR TRUE SELF

Just relax and listen without any effort.

And simply be with what arises.

Innocently notice the Stillness in the room…

There is a quiet Presence all around you.

A beautiful stillness.

Within you.

Surrounding you.

Like an ocean of silent peace.

At first, it may feel subtle.

But the more you let go,

the clearer it becomes.

No need to change anything.

No need to create a mood.

Just relax.

Allow everything to be exactly as it is.

Let go of notions.

Be simple.

Be open.

Do not resist anything.

Do not encourage anything.

Do not expect anything.

Let thoughts come and go.

Let sensations appear.

Let emotions move.

Just sit back, let go.

Softly.

If the body asks for adjustment, adjust—

and then let go again.

If tiredness comes,

close the eyes for a minute—

and return.

Now notice the Stillness again…

Be with it.

Let it become more dominant.

Take a deep breath.

And release.

Be with the quiet space around you.

The urgent things of life

begin to soften,

moving into the background.

A simple innocence of being here

begins to arise.

Stay with that.

Now, while listening, open your eyes for a moment

be gently aware of your peripheral vision…

Take in the full panorama—

effortlessly, all at once.

Let the gaze widen.

Let awareness widen.

Notice the increased stillness…

the heightened alertness…

the spaciousness…

the lightness…

Now notice your eyes moving across the room…

Listening becomes simpler.

Effort decreases.

Thought no longer pulls as strongly.

Rest in that effortless centeredness.

And now—

notice the Stillness

between your eyes and what is in front of you…

It is everywhere.

Silent.

Spacious.

Subtly alive.

A calm ease is here—

and perhaps a quiet excitement

in the whole of your being.

Presence becomes tangible.

Boundaries soften.

A smile may appear

by itself.

Be with that…

The expansion you taste here

is the same expansion you tasted

on the mountaintop—

a hint of your natural vastness.

And this vastness

is not only within you.

It is woven through everything.

Atoms are mostly empty space.

Bodies, trees, stones—

space moving as form.

So the spacious alive Presence you feel

is not imagination.

It is a doorway

into the deeper texture of reality.

Most of the universe is hidden from ordinary sight—

and yet this hiddenness

is not “out there.”

It permeates your life.

It is intimate.

It is near.

If you travel to distant galaxies

you gather only a fraction.

But if you enter deeply

into the silent Presence

within and around you now,

you begin to touch

the full essence.

The silent expanse of your own Being

is unbounded Awareness itself—

the very condition

for anything to exist,

or be known.

So consider, gently:

How did the small fragment—

body, story, situation—

become so dominant,

when vastness is everywhere?

How did you lose touch

with the silent peace

of your own unbounded Self?
